Carole "Clardy" Knight

Mrs. Carole “Clardy” Knight, age 50, a resident of Maury County, passed away Friday, December 13, 2019 at Maury Regional Hospital after a short battle with cancer.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at 6PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Brother Mike Roberts officiating. Family will receive friends from 4-6pm prior to the service. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on July 4, 1969 in Bedford, Co, Carole was the daughter of William & Sue “Neese” Clardy. She was a nurse for Amedisys Home Health. She was a long time member of St. Luke Methodist but recently started attending Parkway Baptist Church. She loved taking trips to the Smokey Mountains with her family. She enjoyed working in the garden and also had a love for raising chickens. She had a special love for her dogs Lolly and Lucy.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sons Tucker Knight, Matthew (Hali) Lentz, and Jeremy (Heather) Dyer all of Columbia; daughter Madison Lentz of Columbia; brother Jeff (Amber) Clardy of Columbia; grandmother Lucille Clardy of Murfreesboro; niece Tensley Clardy; nephews Landon and Logan Bardwell as well as two grandchildren Jason & Ethan Lentz; and special friends David Lentz and Tammy Eller both of Columbia.
