Charles "Bubba" Kelley

Charles Adrian “Bubba” Kelley, age 42, a resident of Columbia, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at his residence.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at 11AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Freedom in Maury Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19. A visitation will be held on Monday, May 24, 2021 from 4-7PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Bubba was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on November 11, 1978 to his beloved mother Joyce Wren and father Carrol Kelley. He attended Fairview High School and served in the United States Army. Bubba loved being outdoors, playing with his dogs; he never could resist a Pit Bull. He was a prankster since his early childhood days and was always cracking jokes with others. He loved his family and never missed a moment to tell his mother he loved her.

In addition to his mother and father, he is survived by his step father, Tony (Patricia) Wren; step mother, Helen Kelley; grandmother, Emma Cates; siblings, Michelle Sparkman, Vicki Kelley, Kristi Black, Tanya (James) Halbrooks; children, Hannah Campbell, Dusty Campbell, Christopher Kelley, Charli Kelley, Zachary Monroe; special nieces, Ciara (Anthony) C., London B., Alandra B., Gabby H., Bella H., Monty W., Kada W., Jacob B., and Trevor B.

Bubba was preceded in death by his grandfather, William A. Cates; great grandmother, Mandy L. Cates; and grandparents, William & Elizabeth Kelley.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Burke, Monty Wren, Anthony James, Tony Wren, Josh Board, and Clarence “Bud” Adams. Honorary pallbearers will include Terry Cates, Jerry Cates, and Trevor Burke.
