Charles W. Hamilton of Summertown, Tennessee

July 1, 1943 - October 4, 2023

Charles W. Hamilton, age 80, of Summertown, TN passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at his home surrounded by family. He was retired from Columbia Specialties Inc. and from Hamilton Drywall and Painting. He was a member of Sandy Hook Church of Christ where he served as a Deacon.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Florence Frazier Hamilton, three brothers, James, Royce, and Pete Hamilton, one sister Brenda Cox, and a daughter Rita Luffman.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Linda Henson Hamilton of Summertown, TN. One son, Roger (Stacey) Hamilton of Lawrenceburg, TN, and one daughter, Rona (Kenneth) Jackson of Lawrenceburg, TN. Two sisters, Linda Davis of Lawrenceburg, TN and Connie (Bobby) Robinson of Lawrenceburg, TN. Six grandchildren, Adrienne (Phillip) Gowen, Erin Rice (Olivia), Christina (Eddie) Goins, Daniel (Jennifer) Luffman, Justin Salcedo, Jason (Holly) Salcedo. Thirteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Arrangements are being handled by Heritage Funeral Home at the Summertown Church of Christ, 305 Church Street, Summertown, TN on October 14, 2023 with Jeff Smith officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with the Memorial Service to begin at 1:00 PM.
