Charles Randall Hendley, age 78, of Columbia, Tennessee passed into the loving arms of his Savior on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at his home in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, surrounded by the love of his family.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Jason Pellizzer officiating. Burial will follow in West Point Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM and again on Saturday from 9:00 – 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
A native of Columbia, Randall was born on January 31, 1944, and was the son of the late Charles Clifford Hendley and the late Clara Marie Barnes Hendley. He was a long time Pastor of the Baptist faith and was a retired furniture refinisher. His love for people was only superseded by his love for God and his family, especially his wife, Betty, of fifty-eight years. HE WILL BE MISSED.
He is survived by wife, Betty Hendley of Lawrenceburg, son, Randy (Brenda) Hendley of Columbia, son, Troy (Pam) Hendley of Spring Hill, daughter, Kim (Dan) Barnes of Lawrenceburg, brother, Rickey Hendley (Dianne) of Decatur, AL, grandchildren, Bethany Fay (Brett Atwell), Kristie (James) Martin, and Justin (Alisha) Briggs, as well as five great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Randall was preceded in death by his brother, Joel Hendley, and sister, Janice McKennon.
Pallbearers will be Justin Briggs, Billy Sparks, James Martin, Eric Sloan, Brian Sloan, and Gary Hendley.
Honorary Pallbearers will include Roger Frasier, Darryl McKennon, Bethany Fay, Blaze Davidson, MaKayla Davidson, Kristie Martin, Thomas Martin, Kaiden Briggs, and Bennett Briggs.
The family would like to make special mention to Unity Hospice Care of Lawrenceburg and Maury Regional Emergency Care and 3 rd Floor Palliative Care for the outstanding level of compassion and care shown to Randall and family.
