Chelsey Hickman Pigg

Chelsey Hickman Pigg, age 28, a resident of Duck River passed away Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Maury Regional Medical Center after a long courageous battle with leukemia.

A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Brother J. T. Booker officiating. A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 18th from 4:00 – 8:00PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on June 22, 1993, in Maury County, Chelsey was the daughter of Cecil Wayne Hickman and Melissa Diane Cates Brown. On June 27, 2020, she married Auston Pigg. She was a kindhearted lady that always put others before herself. She attended Pleasant Union Church of Christ. Chelsey enjoyed shopping, taking selfies and eating Granny Helen’s fried chicken.  She treasured her beloved German Shepherd, “Diesel”. Most of all, she loved spending time with her husband and daughters.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her daughters, Dreama Leigh-ann Hickman and Gracelynn Jewell Pigg; brothers, Austin Brown and Matthew (Cassidy) Brown, both of Columbia; grandmother, Billie Puryear of Lewisburg; four special friends, Corey Rogers, Lyndsey Barnes, Kayla Baugus and Crystal Allen; in-laws, Barry and Jenelle Pigg; grandmothers-in-law, Helen Patterson and Maggie Pigg; two brothers-in law, three sisters-in-law, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, William Glen Cates and George Wendell Conwell, grandmother, Jewell Francis Cates and Uncle, Williard Perry Oliver.

Pallbearers will be Austin Brown, Matthew Brown, Cody Terry, Bralon Pigg, Dee Johnson, Barry Pigg, Darrell Cates, Corey Terry, Brandon Jett, Dustin Jett, Jason Oliver and Landon Black.
