Cherryl Ann Voorhees of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee

Cherryl Ann Voorhees, age 62, resident of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Life Care Center of Columbia.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 10th at 2:30PM at Hampshire First Baptist Church with Dustin Lassiter officiating.

Born December 12, 1956 in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Elaine VanVelson Morris and wife of Robert “Bob” Voorhees. She was a homemaker who loved cooking, baking and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Hampshire First Baptist Church. Cherryl will be remembered best as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Along with her husband, she is survived by her children: Teresa Meza, Heather Shrader and Forrest Voorhees, all of Mt. Pleasant and Jeremy Keith of California; brothers: Marc VanOstern of Seattle, WA, Fred Morris of Florida and David Morris of South Carolina; and eight grandchildren.
