Chrystal Renisha Porter of Anaheim, California

Chrystal Renisha Porter, age 44, a resident of Anaheim, California, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 21st at 3:00pm at Heritage Funeral Home.  The family will visit with friends on Sunday from 1:00pm until the 3:00pm service hour at the funeral home.  Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Chrystal was born September 4, 1979 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, TN.  She was educated in the public schools of Maury County systems and graduated from Central High School in 1997.  She worked in accounting and customer service throughout her life.

Chrystal was a free spirit.  She did things her way.  She enjoyed dancing and music.  Exercise was her therapy.  She had an appreciation for learning to heal the body holistically.  Chrystal was easy to talk to, as even strangers flocked to her to tell their life story.  She truly had a healing energy. Chrystal definitely lived up to her name.  She was a genius with a unique beauty inside and out.  She was a brilliant glass, known for her exceptional intelligence and clarity.

Chrystal was a quiet person who took joy in her own company and solitude.  “Don’t you dare interrupt her me time!”  She was kind hearted, loving, and cared about the world.  She just wanted peace.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Frank Frierson, grandmother, Dorothy Stovall, and son, Sai Porter.

Her loving memories will be cherished by an abundance of family and friends.

Chrystal is survived by her maternal grandmother, Luellen Frierson; loving mother, Victoria Hardison; father, David K. Stovall; stepfather, Robert Hardison; children, Devan Porter, Michael Porter, William Porter, David Porter, Ivan Porter, Amya Porter, and Amber Porter; sisters, Marian Porter, Rometrice Polk, Felethia Stovall; brothers, Joshua Hardison, Andrew Hardison, and David Stovall; grandchildren, Navaya Smart, Kyngston Adams, Kendryx Adams, Lei Lani Brannon and Jahseh Porter; niece, Jasmine Baugh; nephews. Cameron Porter, James Porter, Jordan Porter, along with a host of other nieces and nephews.  She also leaves to cherish many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, including her devoted friend of many years, La Shanna Moore Baker.
