Claudia Roberts Allison of Columbia, Tennessee

November 13, 1936 - April 2, 2019

Claudia Mai Roberts Allison (Grandy) was born November 18, 1936 and she passed away peacefully on April 2, 2019 at the age of 82.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sol Flippen (Flip) Roberts and Thelma Lavender Roberts and her husband James Albert Allison.

Claudia will be missed dearly by her son James Michael (Mike) Allison, Sr. (Lydia) of Columbia, TN, her 2 grandchildren Jamie Vaal (Michael), of Columbia, TN, James Michael Allison, Jr. (Jessica) of Murfreesboro, TN, brother William (Buddy) Roberts, Sr. (Annette) of Guys, TN, 3 great grandchildren Michael Cole Vaal, Ava Rose Allison and Allison Marie Vaal, her nieces and nephews Melanie Scheetz (Mike), William (Billy) Roberts, Jr., Michelle (Missy) Thacker (Anthony), Cindy Ayers (Chris) and John Gwaltney (Julie), plus many grand nieces and nephews and many friends and family members.

Claudia will be remembered for her vivacious personality. She had a real love for music and dancing, you could always find her out on a dance floor. She had a very positive attitude and overcame a lot of obstacles in her life, including cancer. She was also known for her hard work ethic and dedication to her job. But what she will be most remembered for is her sophistication and flair for fashion, shoes and decorating.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday May 4, 2019 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to an organization Claudia has held close to her heart since 1960, www.donate.jw.org
