Clayton Elric Perrotte

July 17, 1928 — January 17, 2021

Clayton Elric Perrotte, age 92, a resident of Spring Hill , passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Morning Pointe of Spring Hill.

Clayton was born on July  17, 1928 in Saranac, NY to his parents the  late Edmund Parrotte and Mary Racicot Parrotte.   Clayton was preceded in death by 11 siblings and is survived by one remaining brother, Leaneul Parrotte.    Clayton is survived by his three children,  Stephen Perrotte of Jurupa Valley, CA, Stacy Lynn Harp and her husband Randall Harp of Spring Hill, TN and Shawn Perrotte and his wife Wendy Perrotte of Brentwood, TN.

Clayton served honorably in the United States Army and served during the Korean War.   He also worked at Alcoa for 42 years.  After his retirement he built a restaurant called Perrotte’s place which served people in upstate New York.   He was an avid lover of cars and would talk for hours about classic cars, car magazines and everything a car aficionado would discuss.  Golf and food came in a close second and third.   He loved most food with the exception of onions and fish.  The only fish he enjoyed was one in an aquarium.

Clayton was also a devout follower of  Jesus Christ.  He would often spend time on his knees in prayer for his family and he loved having morning devotions.  One of his favorite books was Billy Graham & Me which he loved to read all the time.  He served many years in his Baptist Church in Florida and many who knew and loved him recognized his spiritual gift of helps.

Burial services will be on March 5, 2021 at  Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery where Clayton will be buried with military honors.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to Heart Tug International, a non-profit  Christian discipleship ministry.  5016 Spedale Court #249, Spring Hill TN 37174
