Cody Adam Howell

Cody Adam Howell, age 29, a resident of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2021, in Culleoka.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in Johnsons Chapel Cemetery. A visitation will also be held on Friday from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Cody was born on June 2, 1992, in Davidson County, and was the son of Jeff Howell and Melissa Humphrey Howell. He was a 2010 graduate of Independence High School and graduated at the top of his class in 2014 from Total Tech in Nashville. A true outdoorsman, Cody loved fishing, looking for arrowheads, and chopping wood. He often enjoyed watching movies, but above all, he loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sons, Hunter and Wyatt Howell, brother, Bradley Howell, sisters, Shayle Howell, Alesha Howell, and grandparents, Danny Humphrey, Patricia Humphrey, and Dennis Scroggins.

He was preceded in death by an infant son, Sterling Howell.

Pallbearers will be Bradley Howell, Alan Seiber, Dustin Brewer, Peter Bitzer, Jeff Howell, and Joshua Gunnell.
