Cora Tatum

Cora Tatum, age 82, resident of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024, at The Waters of Shelbyville.

Cora was born July 7, 1942, in Davidson County, Tennessee and was the daughter of the late Charles Ridley Augustus and the late Margaret Rhea McIntyre Augustus. East High School in 1961 She had worked in customer service at Hall Mark in the mall for about 15 years. She was a member of Franklin Christian Church for many years and then most recently a member at Grove Hill Church in Chapel Hill. She enjoyed doing cross stitching and sending out cards to family and friends. She was also an avid collector of Precious Moments figurines and Longaberger baskets. 

She is survived by her cousins, Freddie Mai (Bill) Moore, Emma Jean Neeley, and Samantha Roberts.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Earl Tatum. 

A private burial will be held at a later date in Spring Hill Cemetery in Nashville, Tennessee.
