Beatrice Dale Harter, age 71, a resident of Chapel Hill, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 1st at 2pm in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Dan McCulley officiating. Burial will follow in Maury Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends on Monday from 12pm until the 2pm service at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Dale was born January 30, 1950 in Jacksonville, Florida and was the daughter of the late Ronald Cash and the late Shirley Mae Padget Scott. She was a substitute teacher at Williamson County Schools and most recently worked as a night auditor at Holiday Inn. She was always cooking and loved to sew. Dale enjoyed sewing clothes and purses for people. She had a caring heart and always wanted to be doing something for others. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Ronald Dale Harter; son: Billy (Elizabeth) Harter of Columbia; daughter: Leslie (Daniel) Bryant of Anderson, SC; brother: Al (Janet) Scott and Lee (Joy) Scott, both of Mandarin, FL; and grandchildren: Emma Harter, Madelyn Harter, Katherine Harter, Tristen Smith, and Wesley Bryant.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, David Franklin “Frank” Scott.
