David Warren Paulk

David Warren Paulk, age 59, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Huntsville, Alabama.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Caldwell officiating. Entombment will follow in Maury Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. A visitation will be held on Friday, May 12, 2023, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on November 10, 1963, in Winnfield, Louisiana, David was the son of Margie (Ron) Owens and the late Milton Paulk. He worked for Mitchell Grocery Corp and was a member of the Masonic Lodge #565 in Section, Alabama. He was a jack of all trades who could do anything he put his mind to. He was an outstanding singer who loved singing karaoke. A loving, wonderful person, David would do anything for anybody and could win over anyone’s heart. He loved to make people laugh and always had a smile on his face. Above all, he loved his family unconditionally and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his mother, Margie (Ron) Owens, wife, Linda “Chestine” Paulk, children, Brandon David (Jessica) Paulk, Cody (Melanie) Paulk, Chasity Renee Paulk, step children, Jeremey Wade Manasco, Jonathan Wesley Manasco, siblings, Shonda (Mac) McDonald, Teana (Jeff) Falconbury, Steven (Christine) Paulk, Dennis (Denise) Owens, numerous grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Tammie Munn and grandparents, Mary & Leon Lebaron and Ann Fletcher.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Paulk, Garrett Munn, Chase Munn, Wade Manasco, Grayson McCaig, Trent Conner, and Landon Talbott. Wesley Manasco and Scott Falconbury will serve as honorary pallbearers.
