Daviion Marquis Tripp

Daviion “Dae Dae” Marquis Tripp, two year old son of Jeanette Tripp and Marcus Abernathy, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 11AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Mamie Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Maury Memorial Gardens, adjacent to the funeral home. A visitation will also be held on Saturday from 9-11AM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Daviion was born on October 6, 2015 in Columbia. He enjoyed playing with trucks and watching his favorite TV show, Tayo . He liked listening to music in the car, playing outside, eating Cheetos, and drinking juice. Daviion loved his baby sister and was very protective over her, and he especially loved his momma.

In addition to his parents, he leaves behind to cherish his memory his siblings: DeAndre Benderman, Jorge Solis, Jr., Diego Solis, Enrique Solis, Aaliyah Tripp; Godmother: April (Gary, Sr.) Powell; aunts and uncles: Cynthia (William) Stovall, Steve (Joyce) Zimmerman, Sheila Sperduti, Ricky Tripp, Tim Tripp, Kayla Basford (Dustin Potts), and Kerry Brown (Tonya Webster); and his Nana: Ollie Grandberry.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Robert & Gladys Tripp.

Pallbearers will be: Gary Powell, Sr., DeAndre Benderman, Dustin Potts, and Diego Solis.
