Deborah Ann Beckman of Culleoka, Tennessee

Deborah Ann “Dee Dee” Beckman, age 61, a resident of Culleoka, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024, at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Born on September 18, 1962, in Oahu Honolulu, Hawaii, Dee Dee was the beloved daughter of the late Melvin James Knights and the late Joan Ann Knights. She never met a stranger and had an open heart, always ready to lend a helping hand to her family and friends. Despite facing many challenges in life, Dee Dee displayed unwavering determination and resilience, working hard to overcome her struggles.

Dee Dee is survived by her loving son, Greg Beckman, Jr. (Megan Coffman) of Foley, Alabama, and leaves behind a legacy of four cherished grandchildren: Serenity Nicole, Ashton Zane, Faith Elizabeth, and Quinn Ruly. She is also survived by her sisters, Cindy (Bryan) Ruark of Culleoka and Wendy (Tim) Robertson of Oklahoma, along with several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her grandson, Damien Beckman, her significant other of 25 years, Jeff Irwin of Sugar Tree, Tennessee, and the father of her child, Greg Beckman.

The family will honor Dee Dee's life with a private celebration at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
