Deborah Marie Oden Collins

Deborah Marie Oden Collins, aged 58, a beloved resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at Magnolia Healthcare. She was born on September 28, 1965, in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of the late Charles Collins and the late Burma Gordon Collins.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Tylan Orr officiating. Following the service, she will be laid to rest in Orr’s Chapel Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Deborah was a graduate of Columbia Central High School and dedicated eleven years of her life working at Magna Seating in Spring Hill. She was a member of the Hannaway Church of God in Columbia. Those who knew Deborah will remember her as a woman who took pride in looking her best, regularly visiting the hair and nail salons. She was also known as an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking for her loved ones. Deborah was a vibrant and sociable individual who loved engaging in conversation with everyone. Deborah Marie Collins Oden will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her warm heart, lively spirit, and loving presence will forever be remembered.

She is survived by her children, Chesley Collins of Columbia, Nikea Oden of Columbia, Kalasia Oden of Columbia, brother, Carl (Teresa) Crosby, sister, Burma Stovall, grandchildren, Antavea Collins, Zyian Collins, Chesley Collins, Jr. ZaVaeh Collins, Kartier Za’mier Oden, Nazraeal Ja’mier Oden, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Those serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
