Della Nance

Mrs. Della Nance, one of eleven children of Eddie and Lucile Sykes was born on September 12, 1948 and departed this life on April 15, 2022.

She confessed her love for Christ at an early age. She married Levi Nance, Jr. in Pontiac, Michigan, and they were a faithful couple for many years. In 1993 they united with Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Columbia, TN where she was a member until her passing. She sang in two choirs while there until sickness got the best of her.

She leaves behind to mourn her passing, her husband, Levi Nance, Jr., one daughter, Sharon Purnell, one step daughter, Arnetra Renea Nance, one step son, Levi C. Nance, faithful grandson, John Purnell, five grandchildren, one sister, Classie Sykes, and a host of other relatives.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Alvin Anderson, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. A visitation will also be held on April 30 ^th from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
