Delmar Marshall Sullivan of Columbia, Tennessee

July 30, 1946 - July 12, 2023

Mr. Marshall Sullivan, age 76, and a resident of Columbia, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at Poplar Estates.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at 11:00AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Johnny Webb officiating.  Military honors will be provided by the American Legion Post 19 of Columbia, Tennessee.  A visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00AM at the funeral home.  Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on July 30, 1946, in Williamson County, Tennessee, Marshall was the son of the late William Glen Sullivan, Sr., and the late Mary Ethel McCoy Sullivan.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.  He was retired from the maintenance department for Williamson County School System. Marshall enjoyed gardening and farming, especially driving his tractor.

Marshall is survived by his sons, James (Melody) Sullivan of Spring Hill and Joseph (Angelina) Sullivan of Hohenwald, daughters, Shelly (Doug) Taylor of Dickson and Elaine (Bobby) Reed of Bethesda, brothers, Marvin (Barbara) Sullivan  of Triune, Tandy (Michele) Sullivan of Franklin, and Thomas (Dana) Sullivan of Franklin, and sister, Peggy Sullivan of Franklin, twelve grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, William Sullivan, James Sullivan and Jerry Sullivan.
