Dennis L. Davidson

Dennis Le’Rae Davidson, age 67, a resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2022, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Illinois.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Heritage Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Maury Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the United States Navy. A visitation will also be held on Saturday from 10:30-11:00 AM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on August 17, 1955, in Maury County, Tennessee, Dennis was the son of the late Robert L. Davidson and the late Hessie Baxter Davidson. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and worked many years as a truck driver. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family. Dennis was a member of the Eighth & Woodland Street Original Church of God.

He is survived by his daughter, LaToya (Uwriyah) Yisrahel of Temple, GA, son, Jason Davidson of Columbia, TN, brothers, Robert L. (Alma Jean) Davidson, Jr. of Columbia, TN, Anthony Davidson of Columbia, TN, Brian Davidson of Columbia, TN, Larry (Donna) Davidson of Columbia, TN, Dwight (Dorothy)  Tidwell of Nashville, TN, sister Zannar (Al Pye) Davidson of Columbia, TN, grandchildren, Cor’Darius Davidson, Jaydon Davidson, Laila Hill, his beloved best friend PaTricia Howard, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, LaTonya Davidson, and siblings, Mikecal Davidson, Mabelene Smith, Alphonso Davidson and Carlotta Bone.

Pallbearers will be: Harold Glenn, Robert Lawrence, Perry Duke, Elliott Duke, Courtney Davidson, Chris Bailey.
