Dennis Morial Scroggins

Mr. Dennis Morial Scroggins, age 71, husband of Carolyn Scroggins, and a resident of Maury County, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at his residence.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at 2PM at Polk Memorial Gardens with Rick Bilyeu officiating. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on October 17, 1948 in Columbia, Dennis was the son of the late William Edward Scroggins and the late Floy Wales Scroggins. He worked many years for Stauffer Chemical Company before retiring and later worked for InterCity Products. He enjoyed fishing and loved his beloved dogs, Bambi and BJ. He was a member of Richland Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Julie (Jonathan) Litton of Santa Fe, Jennifer (Chad) Manley of Petersburg, Toby Scroggins of Lynnville; grandchildren: Colton (Jessica) Carroll, Jordan Litton, Lane Litton, Ethan Litton, Ashley (Alex) Demastus, Lucas Chiles, Jerry Scroggins, Trey Scroggins; and great granddaughter, Katie Carroll.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Ray Scroggins, Robby Scroggins; and daughter in law, Muriel Scroggins.
