Donnie Wayne Nester

Donnie Wayne Nester, age 61, a resident of Lewisburg, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2025 at NHC Lewisburg..

Donnie was born on June 24, 1963 in Charleston, WV, and was the son of the late Thomas and Arlene Nester. Donnie enjoyed his time volunteering at Maury Regional Center and serving as the V.P. of patient counsel while he was at NHC Lewisburg. He enjoyed leading bingo, watching NASCAR, watching football, he was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, listening to music, his phone being attached to his hip, as well as being known for his stubborn and joking personality. 

Donnie is survived by his daughters, Brittany (Jerry) Adkins, Cassie Forrest, sister, Beth York, grandson, Rayden Forrest, niece, Rebekah (Patrick) O’Brien, and numerous cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Philip Thomas Nester.
