Donna S. Neville

Donna S. Neville of Memphis, TN passed away on June 1, 2021 after a courageous battle with lung cancer.

Donna was born on July 11, 1941 to Roy (Dutch) and Julia Schlosberg in Memphis, TN.  As the daughter of a Navy sailor, Donna spent her younger years living in Tennessee, California, and Arkansas; graduating from Jonesboro H.S. before residing permanently in Memphis, TN.

Donna enjoyed putting her love of music to work in her early career working for Stax Records in Memphis, TN where she helped schedule travel for many early R&B stars such as Rufus Thomas and Isaac Hayes.  She also enjoyed a very successful career working for Federal Express, starting in the receptionist pool in 1991 and working her way to an Executive Assistant to the VP of Marketing prior to her retirement in 2013.

After her retirement, Donna continued bowling competitively, playing poker, traveling, watching her beloved Memphis Tigers, and spending time with her family and friends.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Joel Schlosberg, former husband, A.G. (Chip) Neville, III and grandson, Richard Yurovak, III. She is survived by her five children, Beverly (Rick) Yurovak, Stuart Breakstone, Roger (Dawn) Breakstone, Dennis (Julee) Breakstone and Julie Neville (Fiancée Phillip); her seven grandchildren, Ryan, Brian, Brooke, Jonathan, Ashlee, Brett and Willow and her six great grandchildren, Caelan, Ariel, Rylee, Margot, Nora and Sofia.

A celebration of life for Donna will be held on Wednesday, June 9th at Colonial Country Club located at 2736 Countrywood Parkway, Cordova, TN.  We will have an open house from 4:00-6:00 pm with a ceremony from 6:00-7:00 pm.
