Dorothy Stewart

Dorothy Ann Jones Stewart, age 72, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022 at her residence.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 28 ^th at 1:30pm at Friendship Cemetery in Culleoka with Rick Points officiating.  The family will have a private visitation prior to the service.  Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Dorothy was born February 14, 1950 in Maury County and was the daughter of the late Robert Jackson Jones and the late Virginia Louise Stofel Jones.  She graduated from Central High School and was of the Baptist faith.  Some of her hobbies included yard selling, cooking, going out to eat, and gardening.  She will be missed dearly by her family.

She is survived by her son, Freddie Alton McCullom of Columbia; daughter, Kim (Matt) Thrasher of Columbia;  brother, Jeff (Tonya) Jones of Columbia; sister, Kathy Massey of Columbia; grandchildren, Micheal McCullom, Shayna McCullom, Ashlyn Addleott, Haley Roland, and Taylor Roland; eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Malinda “Lynn” Rich; brother and sister in law, William Ray and Judy Jones; granddaughter, Kieara Roland; and great grandchild, Oakley Mathis.

Pallbearers will be Mike Thomas, David Massey, Micheal McCullom, Matthew Thrasher, and Taylor Roland.  Jeff Jones will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
