Eddie Fisher

Edward “Eddie” Adam Fisher, age 36, a resident of Columbia, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 18, 2021 at his residence.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 11AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Matt Travers officiating. Burial will follow in Maury Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 4-8PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on February 17, 1984 in Detroit, Michigan, Eddie was the son of Edward Timothy Fisher and Julie Ann Calleja. When he was younger, he enjoyed fishing and playing baseball, hockey, and basketball. A great sense of humor, he loved to make others laugh. He was a phenomenal cook who had an infatuation with vacuuming and keeping things clean, organized, and tidy. Eddie had a very distinct whistle that those who knew him will always remember. He worked as a butcher for the Kroger on Nashville Highway in Columbia. Eddie was an outstanding father, son, brother, uncle, grandson, and friend who will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Blaine “Chow Mow” Carter Fisher of Columbia; daughter, Presley “Sissy” Rae Fisher of Columbia; stepson, Jacob Dean Lovell of Columbia; sister, Jennifer (Sean) Hooker of Columbia; nieces and nephews: Julia Burns, Alyssa Burns, Conner Rhea, Audrey Hooker, Ashlyn Hooker; grandparents: Teresa & Robert Gleich; wife, Katherine Sisk; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Nannie & Raymond Fisher; and uncles: Teddy Joe McConnell, Phillip Fredrick Gleich, and Robert Allen Gleich.

Pallbearers will be: Sean Hooker, Conner Rhea, Chris Thompson, Thomas Burns, Nicholas Rhea, Mike Webster, and Joe Ingrassia.
