Elaine Marie Timmons

On the afternoon of July 2, 2019 Elaine Marie Timmons of Columbia, TN gained her Angel Wings at the age of 77.

Elaine was born to Linus and Ethyl Johnston in 1942 in Franklin, Pennsylvania. She joined the Navy in 1961 where she met her husband George Timmons. They married in 1963 and resided in Whittier, California till retiring and moving to Columbia Tennessee. They raised 2 daughters Kristiana and Ellen.

Elaine graduated from Rio Hondo College in Whitter, CA as a Registered Nurse. She spent her nursing career at St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, CA. She retired in 2004 and relocated to TN with her family. She enjoyed spending time with her family, decorative painting, sewing and making Raggedy & Ann dolls with her mother.

Elaine is preceded in death by her husband George Timmons, parents Linus and Ethyl Johnston and brother Barry Johnston. She is survived by daughters Kristiana Timmons and Ellen Green, son in law Bruce Green, grandson’s Robert Card and Brandon Beard, granddaughter’s Amanda and Michelle Green, great grandchildren Kandice Beard, Leland Beard, Maxwell Hunter, Julian Beard, Zachary Carasiti and soon to be born Joseph Wellington Carasiti, her siblings David Johnston, Donna Johnston-Heaton and Judy Ream along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and family.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday July 13, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Magnolia Healthcare in Columbia, TN followed by a burial at a later date at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, California where she will reunited with her forever love Tim.
