Ernest Junior Faulkner

Mr. Ernest Junior Faulkner, age 81, husband of Jewell “Judy” Marie Conner Faulkner, and a resident of Santa Fe, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at NHC Lewisburg.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 2:30 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rick Points and Enoch George officiating. Burial will follow in Hardison Cemetery. A visitation will also be held on Friday from 12:00 – 2:30 PM at the funeral home. Per the family’s request, please all those in attendance follow CDC guidelines on social distancing and facial coverings. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on September 17, 1939 in Spring Hill, Ernest was the son of the late Thomas Edward Faulkner and the late Agnes Horsford Culberson. He worked over thirty years as a mechanic for the City of Columbia. Ernest enjoyed spending time with his family, farming and fishing.

In addition to his wife, Judy of fifty-seven years, he is survived by his son, David Conner of Columbia; daughter in law, Tina Faulkner of Santa Fe; sisters: Ruby Stanfill of Columbia, Lennie Boatright of Columbia; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons: Ernest Wayne Faulkner, Thomas Boyd Faulkner; daughter in law, Lisa Conner; brothers: Jimmy Faulkner, Thomas Faulkner; sister in law, Louise Faulkner; and brother in law, Pete Boatright.

Pallbearers will be: Terry Boatright, James Faulkner, Larry Stanfill, Jerry Faulkner, Joe Faulkner, and Alan Faulkner. Enoch & Phyllis George will serve as honorary pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Hardison Cemetery c/o Anita Yancey, 2522 Greens Mill Road, Columbia, TN 38401.
