Ethel SuAnn Newsom (Sue), age 68, a resident of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2020 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN.

Sue was born and raised in Summertown, TN and was a lifetime member of Summertown Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents Vaughn and Mary Staggs, brother Raymond Staggs, and sister Bethel Gray.

She is survived by Husband James Newsom and son Glen Nelson, both of Lawrenceburg, TN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

No services will be held. A memorial for family and friends will be held at a later date.

Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
