Etta Louise Wilson

Etta Louise Wilson, age 75, resident of Columbia, passed away Wednesday, March 04, 2020 at Life Care Center of Columbia.

Funeral graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at 10:00am with Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 – 7:00 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Wesley Anderson, Gary Anderson, John John Anderson and Harold Anderson. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Etta was born in Maury County October 19, 1944 and was the daughter of the late William Floyd Black and the late Frances Louise Anderson Black. She worked as a manager at Big John’s Barbeque for many years. Some of her hobbies included reading, word puzzles, and shopping. She loved meeting people and also had a love for animals, especially cats and dogs.

She is survived by her niece: Stephanie Alexander of Murfreesboro; cousins: Frankie & Mitch Mobley, Vickie Hutcherson, Wesley Anderson, Harold Anderson and other cousins; and special friend: Arleen Moore. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Wilma Floy Black.
