Fannie Neva Scruggs, age 90, resident of Thompson Station, fell asleep in death on Thursday, October 7 at her residence.
A memorial zoom service will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, October 16 from the Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with their services.
Born October 21, 1930 in Franklin, TN, she was the daughter of the late George and Irene Peters Alexander and the wife of Stanton Scruggs. She had worked in the restaurant business as a waitress. She loved cooking for her grandchildren, growing a flower garden and was a faithful servant to Jehovah.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons: George (Rhonda) Scruggs of Murfreesboro and Henry (Leticia) Scruggs of Smyrna; daughter: Mary Irene (Felix) Richardson of Columbia; grandchildren: Antione Richardson, Arthur Richardson, Whitney Stirewalt, Megan Jackson and Alex Scruggs; five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter: Amanda Scruggs.
