Florence “Flo” Dellechiaie was called home to Jesus on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at her home surrounded with love, a warm summer breeze, and the sound of singing birds.
A Celebration of Life will be held on August 14, 2021, at 10:00 AM at Maury Hills Church with Russ Adcox officiating. A reception will be held immediately afterwards at the home of Flo- 313 Caldwell Drive in Columbia. This will be a time to eat, laugh, and share memories of the amazing life she lived. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on April 12, 1957, in Lowell, Massachusetts, Flo was the daughter of the late John Burton Cameron, Sr. and the late Florence June Louise Lee Cameron. She married the love of her life on May 9, 1982 and began a family she always dreamed of. While she was an avid reader and enjoyed her quiet time, Flo was no stranger to loud gatherings. She always jumped on any opportunity to bring friends and family together with her phenomenal and meticulous cooking.
As a devoted Nana, Flo was always grateful for her quality time with her grandbabies- whom she lived and breathed for. Her love and laughter were not limited to her family- she impacted the lives of so many. She was a great listener, kind companion, and cherished friend.
She is survived by her daughters, Amanda (Grant) Voss of Columbia and Meghan Dellechiaie of Nashville, grandchildren, Gavin Voss and Archer Voss, brothers, Johnny Cameron and Jim (Laurel) Cameron, sisters, Janice (Art) Buendia and Joanne (Denis) Frediani, and sister-in-law, Betsy DeVeau.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Dellechiaie and son, Danny Dellechiaie.
