Gary Alexander of Columbia, Tennessee

Gary Alexander, age 74, husband of Sharon Oglesby Alexander, and a resident of Columbia, passed away Friday evening, May 20, 2022, at his residence.

Born on November 21, 1947, in Monticello, Arkansas, Gary was the son of the late Ernest Alexander and the late Vernell Hairston Alexander. He married Sharon Oglesby on February 14, 1976. He worked as a technician for Bellsouth and AT&T for over thirty years before retiring. He was a devoted Christian who loved Jesus.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Krystal (Steven) Gray of Columbia, sister, Charlotte (Bobby) Stookey of Eldorado, AR, grandchildren, Clover, Solei, Novella, Ielyn, and Elias Gray, and two special nieces, Amanda Smith and Ashley Smith.
