George Richard Pavel of Centerville, Tennessee

August 20, 1955 - October 20, 2023

George Richard Pavel, age 68, husband of Faye Pierce Pavel, and a resident of Centerville, Tennessee, passed away Friday, October 20, 2023, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.  Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on August 20, 1955, George was the son of the late Edward Pavel and the late Delores (Dwaileede) Pavel.   He worked many years for J & S Painting. His focus was in electronics throughout his college years. In 1998, he married Faye Pierce.   George enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and line dancing.  One of his favorite foods was Jean Johnson’s potato salad.  He will be missed dearly by all that knew and loved him.

In addition to his wife, George is survived by stepson, Jeff Embler of Summertown, stepdaughters, Debbie Jackson of Mt. Pleasant, Donna Lovett of Centerville, brothers, Ed Pavel of West Virginia and Paul Pavel of New York, and sisters, Aggie Pavel of New York and Sue Pavel of Ohio.
