Gertrude Astarita

Gertrude Ann Astarita (Luciano) age 91, a resident of Murfreesboro, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at American House Senior Living.

There will be no public service. She will be laid to rest in Maury Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on February 14, 1931, in Jersey City, New Jersey, Gertrude was the daughter of the late Thomas Luciano and the late Mary Luciano (Stipo) Her greatest interest in life was being with her five brothers and her two sisters. She was an excellent cook, especially Italian food.

She is survived by her sons, Ralph (Karen) Astarita of Murfreesboro, TN, Thomas Astaria of California and his late wife Cathy, grandchildren, Amanda Astarita, Ariana Astarita, Aryssa Astarita, Thomas Astarita, Angela Astarita, brother in law, Bobby Manna, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph P. Astarita, siblings, Patrick(Hilda) Luciano ,James Luciano, Johnny Luciano ,Joseph Luciano, Tommy (Aliceann)Luciano ,ida Manna, and Rosemary (Frank) Patufka.
