Gilbert Leroi Prosser

Gilbert Leroi Prosser, age 64, husband of Diana Prosser, and a resident of Culleoka, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2022, at his residence.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with John “Bubba” Stanfill officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. A visitation will also be held on Wednesday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Gilbert was the son of the late Roy Prosser and the late Katherine Stanfill Prosser Prince and was born on November 16, 1957, in Rome, New York, but was raised in Santa Fe, Tennessee, later moving to Culleoka. He was a truck driver for over forty years and worked for Stanfill Hardwood Lumber Company. He enjoyed riding his Harley and caring for his animals.

He leaves behind his wife of twenty-two years, Diana Prosser, children, Steven (Beth) Allman of Indiana, Justin Allman of Indiana, Keishia (Coty) Davis of Pulaski, Taylor (Seth) Ledford of Columbia, brother, Jim Morton of Hilltown, uncles, John Stanfill of Primm Springs, Eddie Ray (Sue) Stanfill of Santa Fe, grandchildren, Emma, Camden, Alex, Darrell, and Kaylee Allman, Drayson, Brayden, Allyson Davis, Leighton Hurt, Austyn, Dylen, and Weston Ledford.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Deborah Prosser.

Pallbearers will be Robert Pope, Richard Howard, Coty Davis, Drayson Davis, Seth Ledford, and Leighton Hurt.
