Gina Simone Clark

Gina Simone Clark, age 63, a resident of Columbia, passed Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at her residence.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Father Noah Cooke officiating. Burial will follow in Maury Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the United States Army. A visitation will also be held on Saturday from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the funeral home.

Born on September 29, 1958, in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Gina was the daughter of the late Ernest Carter and the late Virginia Moore Carter. She served in the United States Army from February 5, 1980 – January 12, 1987. She loved her family, and her grandchildren were her pride and joy. Gina was of the Catholic faith.

She is survived by her son, Shaun (Alexandra) Clark, brother, Anthony Carter, sisters, Frankie (Tom) Snapp, Martha Herbel, grandchildren, Jessica (Chris), Elizabeth, Vincent, Alexis, Lucia, Olivia, Logan, Cheyenne, Andrew, Regina, Natalie, Savannah, Willow, James, and Lucas, and one great grandchild, Zeke.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Heather Clark.

Pallbearers will be Shaun Clark, Eric Mullins, Wayne Mullins, Jason Cooke, Vincent Clark, and Richard Cooke.
