Glen Griffith of Fort Myers, Florida

Glen "Griff" Griffith, age 58, husband of Scharla Griffith, and a resident of Fort Meyers, Florida passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 30th, 2022.

A private memorial was held in Ft. Meyers with his wife & children.

Born on October 3rd, 1964, in Kansas City, MO, Glen was the son of the late Bud Luther and the late Genny Luther. He married Scharla Dunlow Griffith on February 25th, 1994. Glen attended Central High School and was a member of the class of 1984. He worked for Superior Essex for 15 years before he moved to Florida, where he was employed at Auto Sound.

Besides his children and family, Glen's favorite thing in life was fishing, followed closely by his hilarious tales of his fishing adventures. Glen was a great story-teller and loved telling of his escapades of his younger years. If you heard the words, "let me tell you what old dad did.." you knew it was going to be a good one! Those close to him lovingly referred to him as "Griff", and he will be dearly missed.

In addition to his wife, Scharla, he is survived by his children, Hunter and Shanya Griffith. Brothers, Terry (Katie) Griffith and Tim (Libby) Luther of Columbia. Sisters, Lisa (Mike) Helton of Lynnville, and Kathy (John) Farr of Missouri. Nieces & nephews, Michael (Katie) Luther, Sean (Kayla) Luther, Shelby Luther, Hannah Helton, Logan Helton, Amanda Griffith, Michelle Porter, and Monica Major. Great Nieces and nephew, Gavin, Henley, and Remi Luther. mother in law, Ellen Wheeler McDougal, brother in law, Keith Morgan and Nephew Josh Dunlop.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bud and Genny Luther and his father T. Griffith.
