Glynn Dale

Glynn Dale, age 82, husband of Helen Street Dale, and a resident of Columbia, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2022, at his residence.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at 6:00 PM Heritage Funeral Home with Colton Marshall officiating. A visitation will also be held on Tuesday from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on August 22, 1939, in Maury County, Glynn was the son of the late Everett Dale and the late Mildred Ruth Vandygriff Dale. He married Helen Street on October 2, 1965 and worked over fifty years as a home builder. A true outdoorsman, he enjoyed racing, fishing, and camping. Above all, he loved his family and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Anthony (Carole) Dale of Columbia, Mike Dale of Columbia, Jimmy Dale of Columbia, brothers, Ernest “Hop” Dale of Columbia, Danny (Annie) Dale of Columbia, grandchildren, Britny (Nathan) Cooper, Chase (Peyton) Dale, Jessica (Marcus) Baker, Kayla Dale, Lauren Dale, Justin Snitzer, Tyler Dale, Brandon Dale, and fifteen great grandchildren with one on the way.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Terry Lynn Dale, twin brother, Lynn Dale, and sisters, Faye Baker, Imogene Scott, and Shirley Davis.
