Graylin Lee Washington, age 66, a resident of Columbia, passed away Wednesday, May 3,2023, at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at 12:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. A visitation will also be held on Wednesday from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on December 14, 1956, in Chicago, Illinois, Graylin was the son of the late Samuel L. Knight and the late Shirley May Washington. He served in the United States Army and enjoyed his work in the construction industry. He loved to cook and enjoy a nice meal.

He is survived by his sister, Erania Mae Taylor and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Charlotte Sept and brother, William David Washington, Jr.
