Grover Alvin “Bubbie” Watkins, Jr., age 58, a resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away Friday, October 20, 2023, at his residence.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at 12:00 PM at Friendship Cemetery. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on October 5, 1965, in Shelbyville, Kentucky, Bubbie was the son of the late Grover Alvin Watkins, Sr. and the late Nancy Marie Newman Watkins. He is survived by his children, Jason Parks, Chris (Cora Boyd) Watkins, Christin (Michael Estis) Watkins, brother, Evan (Lisa) Watkins, sisters, Carla Whortenbury Perhealth, Lisa (Wayne Moore) Barnado, grandchildren, Jason Parks, Jr., Skyler Parks, Maddison Parks, Gracie Parks, Olivia Arthur, Haley Watkins, Brantley Watkins, Kolton Watkins, Quentin Armstrong, Jordon Armstrong, Dillan Armstrong, and nieces and nephews, Michael (Cameo) Watkins, Timmy (Alexia) Watkins, Kinsley Watkins, Blake (Faith Ann) Watkins, Christy Huges, TC Watkins, April Watkins, Anthony Perhealth, Marina Perhealth, William Lee Hasmon, Dustan (Savannah) Dugger, Wesley (Sara) Dugger, Kinsley Watkins, Trenton Watkins, Karson Ray, Ameila Ray, Graysen Watkins, Tavin Watkins, and Sawyer Watkins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, MacKynzie Arthur, and nephews, Jeremy Watkins and Jamey Burns.

Pallbearers will be Dustan Dugger, Wessley Dugger, Blake Watkins, James Busby, Michael Watkins, and Karson Ray.
