Harold was a 1968 graduate of Santa Fe High School where he was an excellent basketball player.  He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee. Harold worked many years as manager at General Electric and later worked several years as manager at American Greetings in Franklin. More recently, he was an amazing landscaper and gardener. In addition to basketball, he was talented in several other sports, including softball, and was one of the founders of the Santa Fe Summer League where he coached and played for years. He was also an avid golfer, and he and his family were the first to start organized cornhole tournaments in this area. Many could remember Harold for his extremely detailed and immaculate Christmas lights on his home and in his yard, that he spent countless hours every year working on to make them perfect. Harold was a friend to all and a very lighthearted guy who loved sharing a meal and spending time with friends and family. He was of the Methodist faith.

He is survived by his son, Brian (Jenny) Hocker of Columbia, daughter, Brooke Hocker of Santa Fe, stepdaughter, Renee (Tony) Click of Columbia, brother, Darrell (Sonya) Hocker of Texas, sister, Cathy (Don) Barber of Indiana, grandchildren, Blaine (Amanda) Click of Florida, Conner (Brittany) Click of Columbia, Allie Click of Columbia, Emery Click of Columbia, and great grandchildren, Kennedi Click and Reese Click.
