Henry Clyde Williams

Henry Clyde Williams, age 77, a resident of Trotwood Avenue in Columbia, passed away Sunday, February 13, 2022, at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A graveside will be held on Monday, February 21, 2022, at 12:00 PM at Polk Memorial Gardens with Gary Townsend officiating. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on August 24, 1944, in Maury County, and raised in Mt. Pleasant, Henry was the son of the late Gene Williams and the late Katherine Pugh Williams. He attended Mt. Pleasant Elementary School and later attended Columbia Military Academy. He was a former employee of B&F Paving and the Maury County Highway Department.

Survivors include numerous cousins.

Pallbearers will be Perry Pugh, Van Boshers, Keith Baker, Jerry Attkisson, and Larry Billington. Honorary pallbearers will include cousins, employees of the Quik Mart Shell convenient store on Trotwood Avenue, and Henry and his late parents’ neighbors and friends.
