Howard Alton Garver

Howard Alton Garver, age 78, resident of Culleoka, passed away Monday, August 15, 2022 at his residence.

A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, September 2 ^nd at 6:00 PM at Mooresville United Methodist Church.   Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Howard was born in Rochester, New York and was the son of the late Rudolph James Garver and the late Edith May Mosher Garver.  He served our country in the United States Marine Corps and National Guard.  He was known for his craftsmanship and his talent with woodworking .  He also enjoyed deer hunting.  He will be missed dearly.

He is survived by his daughter, Kimbra (Paul) Davidson of Culleoka; brother, Allen James Garver of Robinsville, NC; grandchildren, Branden Davidson and Christina Gold; and many other grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Ramona B. Garver.
