Howard David Wright

Mr. Howard David Wright, age 60, a resident of Nashville, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Alive Hospice, just one day shy of his 61 ^st birthday.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at 2PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Freedom in Maury Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19. A visitation will also be held on Sunday from 1-2PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on August 1, 1958 in Reidsville, Georgia, Howard was the son of the late Howard Eugene Wright and the late Leola Flatt Wright. He served his country in the United States Army and previously worked at Home Depot in Brentwood. He enjoyed woodworking and anything that involved using his hands. Howard also loved fishing and reading, especially the Bible. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his sisters: Betty Darlene Wright-Sheffield, Lura Mae Francis Waunner, Betty Francis Roberts; special friends: Alan Walker, Kevin, Lynn, Selena, and Rachel Kelley; several nieces and nephews and life long friend and previous wife: Tammy Wright.

Friends of David will serve as pallbearers.
