Ivy Renae Lovell

Mrs. Ivy Renae Lovell, age 60, wife of Randell Lovell, and a resident of Lewisburg, passed away Saturday evening, November 24, 2018 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 2PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4-8PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on February 28, 1958 in Haleyville, Alabama, Renae was the daughter of Agnes Raburn Powell and the late Frank Powell. She was a 1975 graduate of Hackleburg High School in Hackleburg, AL and earned a degree in Physical Therapy from University of Alabama at Birmingham. After college she moved to Hawaii where she lived for two years. She married Randell Lovell on April 26, 1985 and together they had two children. Renae worked thirty years as a physical therapist for NHC Home Health. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her daughter: Valerie Lovell (Chad Gifford) of Columbia; son: Ethan Lovell of Pulaski; brother: Mike (Joan) Powell of Hackleburg, AL; sisters: Sheila (Mac) Johnston of Hackleburg, AL, Glenda (Steve) Loveless of Hackleburg, AL, Angie Taylor of Hackleburg, AL; and grandchildren: Kylie Gifford, Karlie Gifford, and Kellyann Lovell.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
