Jack Lebron Wardlaw, age 77, husband of Jean Manire Wardlaw, and a resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, August 2, 2024, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Born on October 5, 1946, in LaFayette, Georgia, Jack was the son of the late Albert Wardlaw and the late Margaret Strickland Wardlaw. Jack served as an electrician for four years in the United States Navy from the age of seventeen to twenty-one. He dedicated twenty-three years of his career as an Industrial Electrician at General Motors before retiring in 2008. On November 19, 2000, he married Jean Manire. Jack was known as a jokester with a great sense of humor, and he enjoyed watching movies and tinkering with electronics.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Shannon Nicol, sister, Sandra (Leon) Lewis, uncle, Charles (Shirley) Wardlaw, aunt, Melba Keown, sister in law, Becky Ferruccio, brother in law, Kenny (Dionne) Manire, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024, from 2:00 - 4:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee is assisting the family with arrangements.
