Jacqueline Brooks

Jacqueline Patrice Brooks, age 37, a resident of Columbia, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at 3:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. A visitation will also be held on Saturday from 2:00 – 3:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on November 13, 1984, in Columbia, Jacqueline was the daughter of the late John Albert Brooks and the late Tina Cathey Brooks. She was a graduate of Columbia Central High School and National College of Business and Technology. She worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant for numerous nursing homes in Maury and Williamson County. Jacqueline was very outgoing, charismatic, loving, caring, and supportive. Above all, she was a devoted mother who loved her children.

She is survived by her sons, Marquavis Golden and Ja’marion Brooks, boyfriend, Timothy Jones, sister, Tyeisha Cathey, sister in law, Allison Mosley, grandmother, Laura Bell Scribner, nieces and nephews, John Brooks, Jana Brooks, Trevontis Brown, Kentarius Biffle, Kelvion Biffle, Deaisha Mosley, De’kiya Mosley, devoted friend, Nichole Zimmerman, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Albert Brooks, Jr., and grandparents, John & Gladys Brooks, Rosie Lee Porter-Cathey and Wilbert Cathey.
