James Daniel "Danny" Fitzgerald

James Daniel “Danny” Fitzgerald, age 61, a resident of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday evening, January 2, 2024, at his residence.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Pulaski Street Church of Christ, 247 Pulaski Street, Lawrenceburg, TN 38464. A celebration of life with be held at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on February 21, 1962, in Nashville, Tennessee, Danny was the son of the late Floyd Fitzgerald and the late Betsy Priest Fitzgerald Roberts. He married Lisa Renae Thigpen on June 25, 1991. Danny previously worked as a truck driver before transitioning to Jones Apparel in Lawrenceburg where he worked several years. He was an avid wrestling fan. Known for his sociable nature, Danny cherished conversations and the company of others.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Brandy Workman of Murfreesboro, TN, son, Joshua Fitzgerald of Lawrenceburg, TN, and his grandson, Thatcher Fitzgerald.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Cricket Fitzgerald.
