James Davidson

James H. Davidson, age 80, a resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on October 30, 2024, at his home.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 9, at 4:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home. The family will visit with friends prior to the service, from 3:00 p.m. until the service time. Heritage Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with arrangements.

James was born on May 6, 1944, in Asheville, North Carolina, to the late Robert Davidson and the late Lorraine Fullwood Davidson. He retired as a supervisor at Sharon Steel Company in Michigan. A devoted member of Carmack Boulevard Church of Christ, James was known for his commitment to his faith and family. He was an avid golfer and even traveled the world playing on different courses. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Caster Moore Davidson of Columbia; his children, James Davidson, Jr., Anthony Davidson, Timiki Davis, and Cynthia Norwood; his brothers, Luther Davidson and Stanley Davidson; and his sister, Mammie Davidson.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his daughter, Mia Davidson.
