James Herman Davis of Lawrencburg, Tennessee

Mr. James Herman Davis, age 83, a resident of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at the VA Hospital in Murfreesboro.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Henryville Cemetery in Lawrence County. Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia is assisting the family with arrangements.

James was born on May 16, 1940, in Lawrence County, Tennessee, and was the son of the late Charlie Edward Davis and the late Hugh Alice Clifft Davis. He served in the United States Navy from 1959 – 1963. He is survived by his brothers, Charles Cleveland (Alice) Davis of Mississippi, Kenneth Gene Davis of Summertown, TN, and sisters, Eliane (Tim) Bernhart of Lawrenceburg, TN, Helen (Danny) Garland of Lawrenceburg, TN.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Tim Davis and sister in law, Patsy Davis.
