James "Jimmy" Allen Hardison, Jr.

Mr. James Allen “Jimmy” Hardison, Jr., age 81, a resident of Columbia, passed away Monday, August 15, 2022, at Life Care Center.

A private graveside service will be held on Maury Memorial Gardens. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

A native of Maury County, Jimmy was born on August 4, 1941, and was the son of the late James Allen Hardison, Sr. and the late Marjory Jones Hardison. He was a 1959 graduate of Columbia Central High School and worked in IT at Farm Bureau for over forty years before he retired. He married Waynese Derryberry on July 8, 1962; she preceded him in death on December 28, 2020. Jimmy enjoyed bowling and playing computer games.

He is survived by his daughter, Lisa (Terry) Ervin of Columbia and grandchildren, Hunter Ervin and Terrylee Ervin.

Pallbearers will be Jay Burns, John Waldrum, Chris Stewart, Dylan Stewart, and Chase Stewart.
